"From My Heart" - Thoughts from the Bishop

I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.  This is the season we celebrate the Birth of our Savior and King,   It is so sad how the season has lost its meaning to the world.  To many they work so hard at keeping any mention of Christ or Christmas out of our stores,  out of our schools and out of our lives if they had thier way.   And then even the Christians can't work together, so many bring Santa Cluas into our churches with bags of toys,  * heavens no wonder our kids are confused or going into the world.

Then of course the world wants to attack any tradition of the church but then who cares, we know the world does not like us, so what if they don't like our traditions,  they don't like or want our Savior anyway.

But then what are we doing,  to at least teach the truth of the season, the love that God has for our world,  The love so strong that he sent his Son to this earth to live as one of us and to of course as we know, die for us.

But I want to really challenge each and everyone of you to not only spend this season, but this near year with the LOVE of the holiday season
