"From My Heart" - Thoughts from the Bishop

Merry Christmas, ( and certainly not Happy Holiday)  I guess I am one of those customers people just don't want in thier stores,  I do feel sorry and know it is not the actual employee fault, but I hate those stores that will not say Merry Christmas,  I have started asking the person saying happy holiday, what holiday are they wishing me for.  That I don't celebrate certain man made holidays and that this season has its own name and to use it.

I have even been know to stand around for a while in thier lobby to be sure and wish people comming in Merry Christmas.

Part of my issue is that we have taken so much of Christmas even as Christians out of Christmas.  We put large Santas, and if you ask even the children of many christian pastors what it is all about you hear all about santa and all about reign deer and one with a red nose.  But you don't hear that often about Christ birth.

So I challenge all of you to be sure and get out there and be a beacon to your area for the reason for all of this season.
